Meeting with the WB Group Executive Director, Washington
On November 2019, our Vice-president of Fondazione Etica, Paola Caporossi, met Patrizio Pagano, Executive Director of World Bank, in his office in Washington D.C.
The meeting focused on the prevention of corruption as the essential premise of an efficient public governance.
We agreed on the fact that corruption can’t be measured only on the base of perception, even though most of the international indexes are built on it.
That’s why we proposed the Public Rating as a tool to assess corruption on the base of objective data, and not on perception.
Patrizio Pagano has been the World Bank Group Executive Director for Italy, Albania, Greece, Malta, Portugal, San Marino, and Timor-Leste since November of 2014.
